Brent Cross Shopping Centre

At Brent Cross whether it’s fashion or food you are looking for you will be sure to find something that is just for you.

With over 120 stylish shops, cafes and restaurants the choice is simply fantastic. Well known stores such as Boots, Fenwick, H & M, John Lewis, Marks & Spencers, Waitrose and WH Smith can all be found under the one roof at Brent Cross.

Getting to Brent Cross couldn’t be any easier with great tube and bus links as well as free car parking for up to 8,000 cars.

Wembley Stadium

Hosting major matches including the FA Cup Final, as well as all home games of England’s national football team and a variety of rugby matches. It also attracts some of the biggest events in music. It’s located just 30 minutes by tube from the centre of London. The stadium also gives visitors the opportunity of a behind-the-scenes tour which includes the history of the stadium and allows people to truly experience what it’s like in the press room and the player’s tunnel of the stadium.

Wimbledon

The All England Lawn Tennis Club in south-west London is famous for its tennis tournament that takes place each year in June/July. Wimbeldon attracts world-class tennis players as one of the last four Grand Slam tennis tournaments in the world to be played on grass. It’s a very traditional tournament which is known for its all white dress code for competitors along with the consumption of strawberries and cream from the spectators.

London Stadium

Built to host London 2012, the former Olympic Stadium at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London Stadium is home to West Ham United in the Premier League, to UK Athletics as well as playing host to global entertainers in concerts through the summer months. The stadium is located in the heart of Stratford.

Lord’s Cricket Ground

Lord’s is widely known as the ‘home of cricket’ and has the world’s oldest sporting museum. It hosts test matches and one-day internationals. The MCC Museum contains the most celebrated collection of memorabilia from cricket including The Ashes urn, it also contains a cinema which screens some historical cricket footage for fans.

Wireless Music Festival London

Wireless Festival is a must for any festival goer and rap lover, taking place every summer in London since 2005 over three days. This year, it will occur between the 7th and the 9th of July, 2023. West End

London’s West End theatre district is one of the largest in the world, attracting many international stars onto the stage each year and Clayton Hotel City of London is conveniently located near the theatres. It’s a hugely popular activity for tourists visiting the city, and you can find some of the biggest and best stage shows happening in the West End throughout the year.

The O2

The O2 London is a world-famous indoor arena hosting music, sport, comedy and entertainment events since 2007. The O2 is located southeast of London in Greenwich Peninsula and can host events for up to 20,000 people. 

As the second-highest seating capacity indoor venue in the UK, The O2 Arena hosted major names under its roof such as George Ezra, Christina Aguilera, Snoop Dogg, Andrea Bocelli, Justin Bieber, Elton John, Céline Dion as well as an array of sporting events from the world of tennis, hockey, basketball, boxing, gymnastics and much more. The Brewery

18th century historic venue located in London city. The venue hosts all event types from Exhibitions, Conferences, small meetings and weddings. The brewery is London’s biggest conference venue.

Eventim Apollo

The Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith is one of London’s much-loved theatres with a rich history of entertaining the masses and it’s located near Clayton Hotel Chiswick. It is well loved and often described as an iconic live music and comedy venue located in West London. This music venue has seen some great music acts in years gone by including the Beatles, David Bowie and Bob Marley. The venue reopened in 2013 keeping a lot of its original art deco style and architecture.

Royal Albert Hall

This iconic venue is located in Kensington and is home to an array of concerts, theatre productions and conferences. The Royal Albert Hall first opened its doors in 1871 and has been well maintained as a Grade I listed building full of history. For all event needs, they can accommodate anything from 12 up to 500 attendees.

St. Paul's Cathedral

Houses of Parliament & Big Ben

Big Ben is the Houses of Parliament’s clock tower and iconic landmark near Westminster Abbey. The clock tower is known as Elizabeth Tower with Big Ben being the name given to the giant bell that is located within the tower. If you’re planning on visiting Big Ben then consider doing so at night – the 4 clock faces are lit up and the tower looks fantastic.

From street art and street food markets to vintage finds and cutting-edge designers with great Indian food and Sunday markets, you can easily spend a day discovering Brick Lanes delights.

London Bridge

Often used to refer to the iconic Tower Bridge, London Bridge was opened to the public in 1973 by Queen Elizabeth II. The bridge spans over River Thames between City of London and Southwark, delineating an area also known as London Bridge. The bridge is extremely popular with commuters working in The City arriving at London Bridge station and boasts incredible views of Tower Bridge and The Shard building.

Boroughs of London

The northern part of the borough consists mainly of countryside, while the south is highly populated with suburbs such as Cricklewood, Hendon, Colindale and Child’s Hill. These London suburbs have grown around the Northern Line of the London’s underground. They all have easy access to central London.

Abbey Road Studios

Abbey Road Studios is a recording studio located at 3 Abbey Road, St John’s Wood, City of Westminster in London.

It was established in November 1931 by the Gramophone Company, a predecessor of British music company EMI, its present owner. It is most notable as being the venue in the 1960s for innovative recording techniques adopted by The Beatles, Pink Floyd, The Hollies, Badfinger, and others.

Buckingham Palace

Visit the royal residence and working royal palace. Explore the opulent state rooms, galleries and grand ballroom where the queen hosts dignitaries and heads of state and stroll through the gardens. If possible plan to visit 11.00 on Monday, Wednesday, Friday or Sunday during the summer to witness the Changing the Guard ceremony.

The ExCel Centre London

ExCeL is a world-famous exhibition and international convention centre in Custom House, East London. It is located on a 100-acre site on the northern quay of the Royal Victoria Dock in London Docklands, between Canary Wharf and London City Airport.

Whitechapel Gallery

The Whitechapel Gallery was founded in 1901 to bring good art to East London, and is internationally known for hosting world-renowned artists such as Pablo Picasso and Frida Kahlo. The free venue is located on Whitechapel High St, and offers an array of beautiful galleries, exhibitions, historic archives and Educational programmes.

The V&A

Just a short walk from Clayton Hotel Bristol City, We The Curious is the perfect family day out. Located in the Harbourside, We Are Curious is an interactive science and education experience, with shows in the planetarium.

Van Gogh Exhibition: The Immersive Experience

Immerse yourself in the work of one of history’s glorious artists. A 360° experience is delivered through specially designed lighting and sound systems filling a 20,000 square foot Victorian space, a former stable yard of the Old Truman Brewery.

The National Gallery

Located on Trafalgar Square, the National Gallery houses an impressive collection of artwork from the 13th century until 1900 and is widely considered to house the finest collection of Western European paintings worldwide. Some of the iconic paintings include Sunflowers by Vincent van Gogh, Madonna and Child by Masaccio, The Virgin of the Rocks by Leonardo da Vinci and the Wilton Diptych. Entrance to the main exhibitions is free. A must see for art lovers.

Tate Modern

Tate Modern is equal to modern art. Holding an impressive collection of modern art from 1900 to present day, this famous attraction receives an average 5.7 million visitors. Art lovers can find here international masterpieces and works of modern British artists.

Tate Modern is not only famous for what is holds inside but also for the building it is hosted in, a former power station the size of Westminster Abbey.

Museum of London

Discover our city’s fascinating history from earliest times to Roman settlement and the modern era. How we overcame wars, plagues and fires to become one of the greatest cities in the world. (We may be a little biased.)

Entrance to the museum is free and it is open daily from 10.00am – 5.00pm.

Science Museum London

One of the most interactive museums that London has to offer. Visitors can digitally alter their faces and manipulate their voices which make it an enjoyable day out for all. It also houses some impressive items including James Watson’s model of DNA, the oldest surviving steam locomotive ‘Puffing Billy’ and some of the earliest steam engines. You will also find an IMAX 3D cinema which shows both science and nature documentaries.

The British Museum

The museum gives focus to different exhibits, periods of time and moments in history, ranging from Ice Age Art to Indigenous Australia and much more. These special exhibitions give more gravitas to the items on display and goes in depth to give visitors the full story and history lessons you’ll remember forever. In addition to the daily gallery and guided tours, entrance to the museum is free all year round.

London City Airport

London City Airport is the closest airport to London, only 5 miles from the City, making it very popular amongst business travellers. The airport is very well connected by tube, bus or taxi which makes travelling to Central London fast and convenient.

The airport is busier during the week with most flights operated by British Airways for over 20 destinations.

Currency exchange, airport lounge, cafes and restaurants, play area for children, special assistance and parking are some of the services available at the airport.

St Pancras Train Station

St Pancras International Train station London is ideally located in central London with 6 separate tube connections to other parts of London. It is located outside of London’s congestion zone and has on-site parking facilities.

The station is home to the Eurostar which is a high-speed train service connecting London to Paris and Brussels via the Channel Tunnel. There are 18 trains to Paris and 9 to Brussels every day, making this service more popular than flying from the UK to Paris. The journey takes less than 2.5 hours.

Vinegar Yard

Vinegar Yard is a buzzy outdoor venue next to London Bridge Station featuring an eclectic mix of drinks, food, flea market and art. Vinegar Yard is in close proximity to Clayton Hotel City of London, reached in 10-minutes by car.

Vinegar Yard is ideal for those summer nights with their huge outdoor area, while during winter massive tents and outdoor heating is on hand to protect against the cold weather. If you prefer to stay indoors, there are two indoor bars to choose from.

The world-famous wax museum is located on Marylebone Road in central London. It houses impressive wax statues of some of the most famous people in the world including sports stars, fashion icons, world leaders, pop stars, film characters and much more. It’s a popular museum for all ages.
