Total journey time is typically 30 minutes.

Take the train to Paddington, change onto Hammersmith & City line and get off at Aldgate East, adjacent to the hotel.

Alternatively, hop on the Elizabeth Line which brings you directly to Whitechapel station then walk to the hotel for 5 minutes.

How to get from London Stansted Airport to Clayton Hotel City of London?

The Stansted Express runs daily, every 15 minutes from Liverpool Street St, which is 4 minutes by tube from Aldgate East St on the Hammersmith & City line or 13 minutes’ walk from the hotel. Total journey time is typically 49 minutes.

Liverpool Street Station is only one stop from Aldgate East station, adjacent to our hotel, on the Hammersmith & City line. Alternatively, you can reach Liverpool Street station in 10 minutes by foot.

Most mainline stations can be reached by direct underground services from Aldgate East station including King’s Cross St. Pancras (20 minutes on Hammersmith & City line), Paddington (27 minutes on Hammersmith & City line), Blackfriars (14 mins on District line) and Victoria (23 minutes on either District or Circle lines). Other mainline stations just need one change.
